Kenwood Car Stereo Comparison KDC-452U vs. KDC-X396

They are within 5 dollars of each other. Which one should I choose? The X396 is an "excelon" one and the 452 isn't. However the 452 has a 3 ban equalizer and has a 3 line display instead of 1. X396 has 0.0008% harmonic distortion and 110dB signal to noise ratio, while the 452 has 0.001% harmonic distortion and 105dB signal to noise ratio. Is the slightly better amplifier on the X396 and the "excelon" name worth it for losing a 3 band eq and a 3 line lcd screen to a 1 line? Thanks.
