    No such thing as "perfect". Must be able to drive moderately-low impedances. Must be common-ground.

    FIRST, fix any defects. Non-working drivers, incorrect wiring, Dacron stuffing sagged down to the passive radiator, cabinet air leaks,etc.

    After that, the sky is the limit. "I" would start with replacing every capacitor and resistor on the crossover boards.

    Some folks upgrade the wiring, the jacks, the inductors, etc. Some folks disable the SDA tweeter. Listen, decide, have fun!

    I bundled 3 90uf for the SDA board which did nothing until I yanked the stock sda port and applied the bare steel wires to some 12 speaker wire and after plenty of juice i did get a little sda effect.
    Ok don't use them and don't get sonicaps and don't upgrade sda port.

    You and your speakers have issues.

    This confuses and baffles me! Thanks for all the answers and links everyone. They sound great as is but I guess I'll start with taking off the radiators and looking inside.
