FYI - SDA SRS 2.3 for sale in Portland, OR

There is a pair of SDA-SRS 2.3 speakers for sale in the Portland Oregon Area. The person states they are in excellent condition and they are the original owner.

    Someone else may know better than I do but I think the original 2.3's only had 2 stereo drivers and 2 dimensional drivers along with 2 sub bass drivers (the top and bottom drivers in the 4 driver line array). Those two drivers are what I believe most call the doughnut drivers. The 2.3 TL's (or later versions at some point) switched to a 4 driver stereo array, I believe.

    This leads me to a question I have been wanting to ask for a while but has nothing to do with the original post; not considering the tweeters which design sounds better (better bass, better balance from bass to mid, balance from stereo to dimensional circuit, etc) My logic would tell me that the original would be better, but Mathew Polk must have thought otherwise to change to what he did in the later versions.

    Precisely, I have had both and modded both equally, I liked them both but eventually parted with the 2.3's and kept the 2.3tl's. To me the TL's had better overall clarity. Thats a really good deal on those though.
