Not going to give a big review or anything like that.

I loved it. It's not a hot soundtrack, but it's dynamic, so crank it and scare the **** out of yourself. I ran it at -12 on me Denon 2802 and horrified myself with some really dynamic blasts of fear. Fine flick if you're into scary movies.

Good deal! Thanks for the heads up.

I've been reading alot of reviews on this one and all have said it's a really good horror movie. Kind of plays out like Night of & Dawn of the Dead movies, only slicker.

Been debating on getting it, so I think I will. I'll post my 2 cents when I watch it.

Yea it is a good buy. Scary, not super gory....classic horror type movie IMO. I love this theme of movie. It reminded me of Night of the Comet, but without the cheese. My only question is, why wouldnt the first thing you look for NOT be a gun?

Wrong Turn is also a great movie, better thatn 28 Days IMO. And it has inbred rednecks in it!!! Whats not to love?? That's all I will say.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Had a chance to see it at theatres. Probably one of the true gems in this past summer of sequels and over the top action movies.

As much as I liked it, I'm gonna pass on buying it. Horror/thriller flicks I find have only so much replay value. Definitely worth the rental or for the genre lover.

Have'nt seen "28 Days" yet but I wasted my time and money to see "House of the Dead" and.. OH MY FRICKEN GOD! What the hell were they thinking. That rotating camera rip was lame as hell. And what was up with that 30sec. flashback set to techno music? LAME! Now on the other hand "Wrong Turn" kicked major ****. On top of that....lots of hot chicks in it. Eliza Dushku anyone?;) This movie was gory and freaky. Is it just me or did that "skinny" rednecks "laugh" give you the "heeby jeebie" also? Hear it in my nightmares now. And in DTS it really creeps you out. "Final Destination 2" on the Infinifilm DVD was major cool. Watching the death sequences frame by frame was great. You could barely notice the transittion from real to spec. effects. Awesome movie! I give it..... 2 zombie thumbs up!:D

I watched 28 Days Later and Wrong Turn this weekend since Halloween is near. IMHO, Wrong Turn was the better movie. Plus I just could not get enough of Eliza Dushku as she's worth the price of the DVD alone!

I told my wife that if Eliza Dushku came knocking on the door....I am outta here.

She laughed and said "Haul **** ****", then it wasn't so funny anymore.... :(

The wife and I just finished 28 Days Later, I was expecting a really lousy hack and slash film. I was surprised! Not as much hack and slash as I was prepared for. The plot was actually pretty good, it reminded me of "The Omega Man" (Charleton Heston). The ending was a little surprising, but still pretty cool. I don't think I'll buy it, but it was definetly worth the rental fee. 4 stars out of a possible 5.

I thought of Omega Man also, guess were showing our age. I really did enjoy this movie, watched it on Haloween. Felt it had good PQ and OK sound track. I thought the acting was very good, especially, since I was not expecting much.

Very Good film, my 25 yr old son was really into it. Wife headed to her room and her Tivo after 20 min, she is scared of scary movies, go figure!!!!!!!!!!

i actually didn't like this movie, but i guess its mainly for reason that i don't like horror movies in general.

i can put on hold disbelief of ghosts/zombies/monsters to watch a horror movie but i get VERY annoyed with the completely unrealistic actions of the human characters in horror films, and this movie was FULL of them. i guess some people like to laugh at characters in movies like this and say "now who in their right mind would do that???" but it just pisses me off.

like for instance the scene where they stop to get gas at that old abandoned gas station. after barely escaping with his life numerous times up to this point and knowing full well that there are these "zombies" that are out to kill him everywhere, he decides "hmmmm... let me go inside this DARK, OLD gas station, ALONE, and poke around the dead bodies"

any person with half a brain after experiencing everything he had been through would NEVER do that. i just get the feeling scenes like that are "forced" into the screenplay just to make more action.
