I am looking at a CSI A6 thats at 237.50 with shipping on ebay it may go up a lil higher as bidding has two days to go. Is It worth it to jump in the fray to try to get this under $300 for a upgrade from the CSI A4.

Power supplied through a PIO SC-35 and listening distance is around 9ft 90% HT

Thanks

Get the CSI A6, it's well worth the upgrade.

If you can buy it, yes go ahead with the CSi A6. But just make sure you have enough space for it.

I would have to wall mount my TV but thats okay it wont take it but 4 inches higher still within spec for viewing. However I am wondering is the difference between the two worth $300

I purchased mine last year from Amazon at around 260.00, but back then I was 100% clear that I need that particular center speaker in order to match the RTi A9s that I was hoping to buy in the near future.

Now, I have my RTi A9s at home and I am really happy with my front stage. By the way, you can sell your A4 and easy the pain in your wallet....;o)

I'm not following this. The MSRP between the two is only a $150 difference? Do you mean $300 in terms of what you will pay? If so you should also factor in the resale value of the CSi-A4--you could probably get around half that back from selling your current center? No?

A6 is definately worth the upgrade, even better you have the A4 to sell and get some back like cr136124 said.

Yes I'm talking total expediture of $300 for the upgrade as I give old polks to family members because I feel thats where great speakers belong. Is out of pocket $300 worth the difference in sound for 90% theater usage. I love my CSI A4 but I keep hearing how great the A6 and it tortures me!

Look at it this way... remember what it was like to go from your polk sub to your HSU? Maybe not AS extreme but the upgrade wont be subtle as others state.

If you don't want to wall mount your TV then I say don't sweat it.

Oh, that is a huge piece of information. If you love your A4, then don't worry about it. You don't need to and you are not in a rush to upgrade it. So, you can hunt down a solid second hand A6 (if used is not a problem for you) at multiple sites including this one.

It will take a bit of time and effort, but you should be able to score one. This is how, I was able to buy a big items on my current setup.

    Cheers!
