Up for sale is an excellent bdp as well as cdp. Outstanding wolfson DACs with separate 2 channel analog output for cd playing. Hard to beat the sound at this price. Plus of course it plays every bd I have tried (but admittedly I don't watch a ton of movies, but all the pixar and dreamworks discs have worked fine!).

One of the nicer features that is disappearing is the 7.1 analog output for use with legacy (pre-hdmi) receivers. I bought it for this and used it for a while like this and it works and sounds excellent.

This comes with player and power cord ONLY. One with remote and box went for $125 here just a while back so I think that $100 is very fair, especially if you have a dual purpose rig like me and would like to throw in an "old-school" cd once in a while.

I would rate it 8/10 on audiogon. Maybe a few very small hairline scratches but overall very nice. I am selling because I "upgraded" to something with streaming so I could have netflix for the slower summer months :neutral:.

I will take paypal and eat the fees, or USPS MO if you want to wait until I get it. I will ship fedex ground packed to withstand the whims of fedex.

    Great player. A tad slow loading but otherwise. Nice picture and exceptional CD playback! I use mine mostly for CDs (and some DVDs) in my home office on the following system:

    Polk Lsi-7s, Nakamichi CA-5, NAD 214, and the Pioneer. This BDP will compete with most new CDPs to 800 dollars IMO. If you need an exra unit for a second system. 100 is a GREAT price!

    Yea I was gonna mention that it is really slow; however that only bothered my when I my oldest daughter is screaming and I can't get her damn movie to boot :mad:! She usually watches stuff on the dvr, so that is hardly ever a problem. And when I mean really slow, I mean maybe 2-3 minutes from powering up to starting movie, which doesn't bother me really.

    I would keep this just to play cds i nmy home office, but I need the funds so hopefully someone else will give it a good home.
