Hey gents!

I think I am going to move to an in wall subwoofer (pretty much want to build an in wall HT and that will mean I will no longer have use for my DIY sub I made!

The 12" TC Sounds has never been over driven and is an absolute powerhouse -

I have the original packaging and paperwork, screws, etc - driver is essentially like new...

Here is a link http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=293-658

I would like to receive $300 shipped for this driver.

Next up I have a Cherry 3.0 cu ft enclosure - I actually purchase an extra front baffle as I was planning on a redesign of my current sub so I plan on dismounting the current baffle and will ship with a new one. The only thing is it will come with a set of Mirage binding post/terminal cups that PE had on sale..

I would like to get $200 shipped for this item.

Also, FWIW beware of VR3's boxing. I bought a small Odyssey Khartago that arrived in a Maytag washer box filled with padding and packing tape. (Buy with confidence).

Yeah, I miss it sometimes. You have to make some decisions sometimes that get rid of material items - it all can be replaced, this for sure!

I have been thinking about my next two channel rig but I have some plans for my den, an in wall HT and once I have all the HT stuff hidden and concealed - I will have room to have a nice 2 channel. The problem I have right now is just to much stuff. I also like the idea of having a completely separate 2 channel to ht, no ht bypass or any of that crap - just straight music

The white/silver is a pair of CRS+ enclosures... they had 2" foam encased around them -

the blue foam packing is woofers - didn't want those magnets shifting!

Just curious - why not build an in-wall enclosure for the TC driver you have?

My initial thought is its probably because the mounting depth on the sub is ~ 7 1/2 inches and most walls are a most made from 2x6 so he would have a nice bump where the sub was installed.

Trey you thought about going IB in the ceiling? That or possibly a tapered horn enlosure used as a riser for seating?

I don't think the TC Sounds would be well suited for an IB??? @_@ Not sure on that one...

Definitely would not work in an in wall application due to the depth of the unit

Here was my other thought for you. Not sure if the TC is suited for this either, but take a look here

    Yeah thats wayyy too large!

My idea for the future is to have a banging HT but it takes up zero (zilch) even the equipment will be hidden for it and within the room will be two speakers with the electronics also hidden (perhaps between a pair of sofas) - you just pull up a chair and be blown away! :)
