Connection of two RC6s as surround

Hi dear friends
I currently have two RC6s speakers.
I want to use it as rear surround speakers in 5.1 sound system. Only now I understood, that these speakers must be connected as single rear speaker, but I already have two RC6s speakers.
The question is it possible/good enough to install one RC6s as left and one as right speaker?
and connect the same receiver output to both L/R terminal in each speaker?
Regards
Yan

Hello Yan,
Welcome to Polk's forum. The only concern that comes to mind is that when you connect both of the RC6s speakers to the surround channels the receiver will "see" the combined speaker load of both speakers. Since I don't know what the lowest impedance point is for the RC6s I can't accurately say what the parallel impedance will be, but it could be less than 6 Ohms. But on the other hand, the surround channels usually don't require very high playing volumes and are frequency limited there shouldn't be a problem. But, to be on the safe side you should check with your receiver manufacturer to see what the lowest impedance they recommend for the surround channels.
I hope this helps.

I am in the same situation. Yan can you please share your experience
Thanks
