Well, after several months of happiness with the HD sattelite box I added to the HT and the tivo for the bedroom the bug is biting again, it is inevitable that the worm would turn so to speak.

I a mulling over the Anthem PVA 7 channel using the Onk as a pre for my HT setup. But nagging at me are also the outlaw mono blocks those sleek little 2 1/2" jobs with 125w per. Of course I would need seven of those little devils.

Any thoughts or other ideas budget no more than 2500.00:) :(:D

I tried the PVA-7 for a couple of weeks and was not that impresed. I opted for an Outlaw 7100 instead.

no i love the anthem it is powerfull and robust. and when i got the good pre to go with it it realey came alive. adding a power amp to you onkyo will do alot of good but when you get a good pre to go with the power amp you will be amaised. but it just dont match the sunfire pre. that is my olny dislike. and the olny dislike of the sunfire is it olny has a 2 year warentee

Thanks guys, well the wife drug me to the furniture store today, of course I looked at the HT chairs:p but she wants some stuff for the bedroom, will cost me, but in the end it will be worth it cuz I can get what I want.

Does not seem to be that much support for the Anthem at least not many responding, good news is I can take my time. A new pre/pro and amp wow that would be great but a budget buster.

I live in a small city on the coast and the only dealer we have sells denon and one other dealer sells pioneer, I am so damm picky when it is my dough so need to find someone who will let me demo for a bit or something like that, bigger town near me is about sixty miles.

In the mean time the onk is working fine, but needs to eventually go. Planning on lsi speakers next year.

I have done some reasearch on Anthem gear, I like it. I am picking up the Anthem Pre 2L from Soupbone probably next month. He says he liked it very much, solid, good company.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
