Fronts to pair with CS245i

So I am new to Polks and have a very limited budget, but I have a CS245i center channel and a pair of RT35i's which I am using in a bedroom. The sound is so much better than my JBL and vintage Altecs that I thought about adding fronts and moving them downstairs.
What are the best floorstanding speaker options to pair with the CS245i? There's always some vintage Polks for sale around the Charlotte area and hopefully, when I am ready, I can pick up something reasonably cheap that matches well.
Also, I bought a Yamaha receiver but it has no pre-outs and one day I will want to upgrade to an amp. Is the Onkyo TX-NR709 a good choice with these speakers? Not sure when I would be able to add an amp, so it will have to drive the speakers till I can afford to add one.
The room they would be in is not well suited to home theater being about 25' x 16' with the home theater set up on one side and dining room on the other, but it's the only space I have available.
Thanks for any suggestions. Love reading about the many awesome setups you all seem to have.
