Had to put down our cat last night. That makes 3 in less than 2 years. At one time we had 4 alltogether, now just one. Guess that's what happens when you get them all around the same time. Rita was my buddy. Always wanting to sit on my lap, always there to greet me when I came home. She had a good run, almost 17 yrs. I'm gonna miss you girly.

Sorry to hear that. I will hate the day I need to put any of my guys down. They have been my buds for so long it will truly hurt.

Thanks for the well wishes. I'm wondering how our remaining cat will take it. She's older and a bit of a loner as well but has never been without a playmate. The kids, 5 & 7, are already wondering when we can get another, but I don't see her taking to a kitten too well. I think we'll give it some time.

My condolences Dave, I've been where you are and it's not easy, but she had a good long life. She's in a better place now.

    Take care.
