I need a new TV...

My insignia TVs tuner seems to be dying.I had windstream come out today to see why my cable wasnt working--AGAIN and he said everything was fine.He told me he added a signal booster and everthing seemed fine.(I was at work and he stopped by to let me know what was going on.)
Every week or two my TV tells me --NO-SIGNAL and it will last a day or two and then it will work fine.Must be something to do with the built in tuner.
I have a 10+ year old tv hooked up now and it is working fine.

I figure its time to get me a panny plasma

    Are you using a cable box or is the coax hooked up directly to the tv?

    FYI....that's approximately HALF of what I paid for a 50" 1080p Panny 3.5 years ago !:eek: Buy two of em !!!

    Prices have come down A Lot in the last few yrs. TV manufacturers margins are super slim. But I'd check out what Costco is offering, too . . . Free tech assistance and 2 year extended warranty at no additional charge (no affiliation)

    Im having trouble finding one now.
    Sams club site says out of stock for delivery and I called my local sams and they dont have any pannys at all.Panny seems to be a favorite here and I gotta have a plasma for home use.
    I gotta say that the build quality of stuff sure has gone to **** in the last 10-15 years.Everything is made to be thrown away after 5-10 years it seems.Even kitchen appliances.
    I have a 25 year old 20inch magnavox that still works today.Never had a problem.And my 15 year old sony GDM400ps PC moniter that I keep in the closet (just in case) still works.
    Ill check to see if cosco has the model I want.
