Suicides are really cowardly when you think about all the people in third world country's struggling to make it each day and clinging to life. The thing is that life is not ours to take

Nonsense. If he wants to go, it's his decision, not yours.

I feel bad for the ones cleaning up the mess. If I were to decide to shoot myself which I won't, I at least would go to the open body ocean and also point the gun away from people. Killing yourself and leaving such an awful mess is quite inconsiderate.

If they're his inspiration or vice versa, you mean. What do you know about his personal life to judge him?

I am not an advocate for suicide in the least, but what in the hell do people in third world countries have to do with this man or his family. Where do you come up with this crap?

I have the utmost respect for your opinion on suicide and the plight of people in third world countries, but it still has nothing to do with the man or his family, period.

My interest in Fleetwood Mac ended when Bob Welch left and they became not much more than a bubblegum pop band.

Apparently he had a serious back problem and didn't want to be a burden......not sure how I feel about his choice.

RIP and thanks for the great music.

RIP Bob. I liked his first solo effort a lot, many good memories tied to that album. Just bought another copy of it back in February. Not sure if its true but supposedly Fleetwood Mac didn't include him as part of their Hall of Fame Induction which would be a shame.

RIP Bob. Loved the version of Sentimental Lady on FM's "Bare Trees". Though I like some of FM's later albums I thought the Peter Green-Bob Welch era had an edge and more of a blues influence.
