I don't know about you, but the very first book report I wrote in public school was on Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451--it set off my lifelong interest in Utopian/Dystopian literature (I teach a course on that very subject, now and then).
It also spurred my interest in Sci-fi literature. Pretty much self-educated in the public library, he had a long and illustrious career, may he RIP in other lands and realms!
