It looks like mofi has or is coming out with some stuff that is also available on shm sacd. If you had to choose between mofi sacd or shm sacd, what would you choose?

My SHM's sound significantly better than my MFSL's. But I guarantee you somebody will say just the opposite. You just have to hear for yourself.
If you can't hear a difference, don't waste your money.

Are both using the same mastering?

I believe mofi re-masters all of them themselves but, the shm versions of the sacd, not sure.

I know there is definately a difference on SHM vs redbook regular cd. The shm sounds much better but, i also have a lot of mofi stuff and now some that i am looking at are on both so what to choose. The SHM versions on cd Japan doesnt say too much about the mastering.

What Jesse said. That is an important question. If you had an MFSL mastered SHM SACD that would be ideal. Those do not exist however.

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

MoFi's SACDs are generally cheaper ($30.00 vs. $50.00+) and contain a CD layer. Mofi's a better value.
