I find this to be perverted for sure and even offensive. Just goes to show that human depravity knows no limits.

I think my wife has similar plans for my frozen corpse and an outboard motor.

I saw a sketch sitting on the kitchen table, but acted nonchalant when she walked in the room.

Not sure where you attach the outboard motor, but it might be painfull if I'm not completely dead yet.

There's more than way to be respectful, and it's completely personal. Deeply meaningful mourning doesn't have to be sad and serious. Only the artist knows if he's being respectful or not.

The taxidermy looks well done at least.

I just knew people would be freaking over the flying cat. Didn't some of us grow up with a flying nun? OK, maybe not the same thing.... was she stuffed? Never mind, forget it.

Hey Chuck, how are things? Seeing a lot of old timers still in here. It's like a trip down memory lane.

I sure do! I had to rebuild a couple of the ribbons but talked to the guys over at the Carver forums and was pretty successful at it. They've been rockin' like champs!

I have a pair of Silver 7t's powering them. Yeah, I know, a little on the weak side but honestly, they get to ear bleeding levels long before those meters are peaking out and start dimming lights. I have an Adcom GFP-750 with the blue boards for a pre-amp and various sources.

There could be more impact but I need bigger amps for that. But honestly, it's so well balanced and once everything warms up it's just peachy! Especially with the Micro Seiki DD-35 turntable and whatever classical I can find on vinyl. I don't want to change it for fear of upsetting the apple cart. It's just amazing how much of a difference the full range ribbons and lack of crossover points makes in accurate sound reproduction.

BTW, my friend Matt asked how you were.

That's great John, sounds like you've built yourself one heck of a nice system. Glad the Carvers are still "Amazing". Tell Matt I said hi and that I'm dong well, thanks. Just been busy with a multitude of things that have steered me away from audio for a while. (I know, used to live, eat and breath it for years and never thought I'd take a break.) None of the systems have seen much use of late, only on rare occasions. Never thought of selling a thing though, 'cause you never know... life is strange sometimes.

It's good to look around and see so many old friends still in here and active in the hobby. So, HI everyone!
