Well I have a buddy that is just starting out in audio. He got a TT and I gave him a pair of speakers I wasn't using so he can get on board and start listening to music.
I'm trying to help him out as much as I can and wanted to see if anyone has a cheap integrated amp that possibly has phono as he doesn't have an outboard right now.
when I say cheap I really do mean it, like say around 100 bucks or so. If you got something even for less I'll be happy and I know he would be too.
I've been talking with him more and he will probably do a NAD integrated down the road when he has more cash on hand but I just want to be able to help him get it up and running.
The speakers I gave him where just some monitors that I was going to use for surrounds in my bedroom but decided against.
And this is all thru me, not him so I would be paying for it etc etc. It just has to work. Don't care about looks and no pro audio stuff please.

If you can get him to ~200, geppy has a REALLY nice vintage HK integratedthat would meet ALL his needs I believe. Otherwise wait to see what comes out of the woodwork (or PM Geppy and see what else he has)"....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." If he's not picky, I have a late 80's Technics tuner he can have for the cost of shipping. Nothing special, but it does have a phono input. I have the remote control for it, too.Sources: Technics SL1200MKII | SME3009 Tonearm | Monster Alpha 1 MC cartridge | Oppo UDP203 disk player | Nikko NT-790 analog tuner | Musical Fidelity Trivista 21 DAC | Preamp: Threshold SL-10 | Amplifier: Threshold Stasis 2 | Speakers: Snell Acoustics C/V | Kimber 12-TC bi wire speakers | Analysis plus Oval 1 preamp to amp | Wireworld Eclipse 7 DAC to Preamp | Wireworld eclipse digital IC Oppo to DAC | Audioquest Quartz tuner to preamp |

cstmar01--- I've got a few pieces avail that would work. Not trying to hijack thread but I'm putting a link to my local CL ad so you can see pics of a few. The Sansui needs some bench time so it's out, but the little Sherwood has a nice phono section and tubey warm sound. $85 shipped. The JVC I need to recheck all functions ( I remember it having some scratchiness on the controls but quiet once adjusted) so it may need a decent deoxiting which I don't have time for. $75 shipped. Also have a little Onkyo TX-25 works good, faceplate not the prettiest but could be cleaned up for $65 shipped. If interested feel free to PM and I'll be happy to send more pics, recheck everything, answer any ?'s you may have.
That HK geppy has is really sweet though so that would be a good option as well.
