squeezebox touch question

recently, i installed an update..it looks like the VU meters were 'upgraged'...now, instead of the cool-looking blue VUs, they're white and red and include album info and elapsed time...i don't like it...aside from the busy looks, it doesn't display the right album info 90% of the time...esp when i hit 'skip'...anyway, how do i get the simple VU meters back???

You have to re-install the applets after a firmware update. Then you will have to go in to the Patch Installer Applet and choose the blue one again. Sorry for the abbreviated instructions. I don't have my squeezebox in front of me right now.

i found the patch installer...nothing there pertaining to the blue VUs.....after browsing the SQB site, i noticed they're having issues with the new VU..so it's not just me...should i do a factory rest??

i figured it out! VUs still aren't as good as tose on the classic...maybe someone will make a patch
