How do I make my LG magic wand learn to my Polk Audio 6000?

I bought a 55lm7600 LG TV which has the magic wand remote. I love it but my wife only wants one remote. I can't change the volume with the Magic Wand as I seem not to be able to make the Polk 6000 soundbar learn that remote. Help
