    Why are you only willing to pay half as much for used gear? If you'd spend the grand on a used amp, you would have a lot a great options..

    How about getting an EQ or a receiver or pre-amp with quality room correction? Those are going to have a much better chance at getting a sound you like as they are adjustable.

    How about a Vincent SP-331 Hybrid Stereo Amp used for $849 from upscale audio, its 150wpc which I use for my 2 channel set-up on PSB speakers, but I do use it on my RTiA7's now & then and it sounds awesome with it and a Vincent Sa-31 pre-amp.
