So after having my new alpine in my car for a month and tagging songs on the radio. It was time to update the songs I had on the device. I also wanted to remember what I had taged as well. Plugging in both ipods that had tag info on them reviled nothing different and not even a notification that I had taged songs.

Where are they?

I like my iPod Touch, hate iTunes. When I plug in my Touch to my Honda Pilot the folders structure that keeps everything organized show up as one long list of playlists. Takes forever to scroll through the list. I just hate Apple's way of managing music. Wish they simply would have treated the storage as just mass storage and let me manually manage my own music. My android phone does this, but then the phone's audio out is terrible.

Are these songs you ripped and tagged yourself or got off iTunes? What program did you use to rip and tag if not from iTunes?
"Appreciation of audio is a completely subjective human experience. Measurements can provide a measure of insight, but are no substitute for human judgment. Why are we looking to reduce a subjective experience to objective criteria anyway? The subtleties of music and audio reproduction are for those who appreciate it. Differentiation by numbers is for those who do not".--Nelson Pass Pass Labs XA25 | EE Avant Pre | EE Mini Max Supreme DAC | MIT Shotgun S1 | Pangea AC14SE MKII | Legend L600 | BlueSound Node 3 - Tubes add soul!

What I listen to the radio I can hit tag and the song info will be saved into the ipod. Once you connect the ipod back to the computer it should tell you the songs you taged.
