Pop Goes The Connector!

Well Well.....Radioshack Build Quality comes into play!
I was unplugging my dvd player to get it off my right speaker (yes a rag was under it) so I could watch a dvd with my stereo....
I unplugged.....
POP! Comes off the gold plated connector end on the red cable...I shrug it off, I have plenty more spares of ratshack cables laying around....
So I go to unplug it from the receiver....
POP GOES TO THE CONNECTOR!
The white one on the other end comes off! WTF!!!!!! Then I had to get plyers to get the connector off the receiver!! It was practically stuck to the dang thing!
Ah well, 1 down, 2 more to go, plus a whole bunch of other cables! Boom Boom......
