Hello all,
Sorry for another "where do I place my surround speakers" thread, but I am in need of assistance because I plan on running the wires in the wall this weekend. Long story short, I have a window directly where I should properly place my LSR. Because of this I have to mount the surround speaker above the window which is roughly 9' off the floor. My question is should I face the speakers at each other or angled slightly down towards the listener. I am looking for comments from anyone who has done this before and if they have had a good outcome. I read that if the speakers are 1-2' above the listening position then to face them towards each other so as not to localize, but to angle them down if you have to go 4' or more above the listening position. Any thoughts? Oh and one side of the ceiling is taller than the other, so I was thinking of having one higher up than the other and then making adjustments through the AVR settings.
