if i put 2 marantz stereos and a tape player in a rack...is it possible to use 1 set of speakers...i went to radio shack today to see if they had a device/converter box that i could put both stereo speakers out too unit...with a selector so i could use one set of speakers vs 2 sets....can this be done....on top of the rack i would like to put a turntable on it also which shouldnt be a problem...id like to try to keep it clutter free of too many speakers in this den...any thoughts....thanx

Can you be a little more specific, what exactly do you mean by two stereos? If you can't hear a difference, don't waste your money.

He wants to be able to have two different Marantz receivers hooked up to the same pair of speakers.
Yes! There are some switcher boxes that can do that, but I doubt you can find one at a Ratshack, because the switcher has to be able to completely isolate the two amps from each other. Off hand, I know I've seen some boxes that do this but can't quite recall the manufacturer at the moment, so .....later?
This would work but I can't attest to its quality?
