    500 watts is preferred..

As far as biwire/biamp, etc - preference...

Realistically bi-wiring versus a single wire with upgraded jumpers is negligible differences. Personally for I like having a dedicated wire run (although it connects to the same place on the amp) for each hook up.

Technically bi-amping is useless unless you are filtering the signal before it gets to the amplifier... otherwise the amplifier is still amplifying a 20-20 signal versus a limited frequency signal.

My suggestion is try to seek out a nice high current clean amplifier... somewhere from 100-500 watts and have at it! :)

HEY VR3, so are you saying just hook them up the regular way with the jumpers on?

Sure, I would replace the jumpers with a heavy guage wire though

Signal ultra bi-wire speaker cables are a great option at a very good price.

If you want those A9's to sing, look for a good high current amp in the 200-500wpc range. I'm a huge fan of Parasound myself.

I like Single Bi Wire cables as well. Single Bi Wire cables have one set of bananas on the amp / reciever end and 2 sets of bananas on the speaker end. You then remove the jumpers and plug all 4 in to the speaker.

I use Audio Quest Type 8 single bi wires.

If you mention you're a club Polk member you get a bit of a discount as well.
