I'm looking to upgrade my PC on my B&K,and my Onkyo to Pangea. Question i have is their website says AC-9 for Amps, and AC-14 for for sources, and preamps. My Onkyo acts as my preamp, but also runs 3 channels. So,which cable is best? The AC-14 is about $20 cheaper, which isnt much, but i want the best cable for the purpose. Any suggestions?

I think you would be just fine with the ac-14. Not to mention the added advantage that the 14 is somewhat flexible as to the 9 which is so thick it's hard to bend the way you need it.

First, you want the SE version of each cable. If you have the room get the AC-9SE. However, the 9 is a 7 gauge cable, and requires adequate room behind the gear in order to bend.

I started with Pangea, and they made an audible improvement in my gear. However, now I am a Shunyata fan. For a starter cable I would go with the Shunyata Venom 3. It costs a couple dollars more than the Pangea, but is a better cable IMO.

Thanx fellas! @Bluefox,I was hoping to spend $150 max for 2,which was why i was looking at the AC-9/AC-14,and hoping to hear a noticable difference in sound!

I currently use 2 AC-9's in my system and they do an excellent job. I tried the AC-14SE on my source and found that the AC-9 sounded better, so I sold the 14SE. Of course your mileage may vary from my results. I'd go with the AC-9's, but they are Huge and do ok (not great) with flexibility.
