Owned for about 3 months but mainly boxed during move overseas. My speakers were damaged in transit so it saw little use once we arrived; I hooked it up and one the whizzers was trashed on my Omegas. Selling off some other items, and will post tomorrow. Pics soon. Pristine condition.

    I see this DAC has a remote, but does it control volume as well?

    You wouldn't want volume control on a DAC, just something else to get in the way. This one does not have a volume control, but does have a MUTE button on the remote, which I suspect is not technically a mute but rather a simple interruption of the signal. I've not tested this feature, but there is a mute button on the remote.

    Unless you want to go direct to amp; and remove a preamp from the chain.

    Although, not every DAC pulls this off well.
