MY Bose 601 s were a total mess when I got the pair for $20.I refoamed all 4 woofers cleaned & vaccumed the inside and the wood was sun bleached so I used Olde English Walnut Then regular furniture polish which brought back the wood .Now all that's left are the grill covers. Now I know there are soureces for grill covering but would it be cheaper if I went lets say a linen store and got a fabric. This idea I gleened from a guy who restored his AR3a w/ 18 ct.Irish linen. Was this the proper move or just get the prescribed covering fabric.

a friend of mine just made some grill for his B&W's. he made framing. then went to walmart and bought some material and made his. then he called BnW and ordered some emblems....they came out ok. not bad. i have personally never done this. but with bose you wont spend alot to do it reasonably. good luck. randy..

Make sure you get an open weave like a burlap etc. for more transparency ! here, try a cliche'......removed-a-blanket-from organic tone-color
