PQ and SQ are very good, considering the old technology, especially ROTLA...
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

I watched Indiana Jones Trilogy back in 1991 and copied them on the VHS tapes. I still have them. In 1992 when I was 14, I watched the Last Crusade and Raiders of the Lost Ark on Laser Disc at my relatives' house.

The Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark is one of the movies which really inspired me to become the fan of Home Theater. The great video and sound quality of Laser Disc was something 11 years ago changed my experience forever which I really loved since then I had a dream of watching all 3 movies on my own Home Theater system. Now that dream come true!

The Indiana Jones Trilogy DVD has outstanding picture and sound quality. There are no visible NTSC artifacts. No grain and scratches on the print. The transfer is delighted to watch. No edge enhancement to notice. All 3 movies deserves to have a THX flagship for superior video and sound quality.

The Dolby Digital 5.1 track is crystal clear. The bass from .1 LFE track is simply tight and accurate. The mains and surrouds are easy to pin-point and very aggresive and quite heavily used.

The Disc 4 Bonus Material is one the best bonus materials I've ever watched. The interviews were very helpful and no CGI work here. Pure art-work which looks real.

This collection is my long waited since I own my DVD player. Thanks to Paramount for finally releasing the master-piece.

Yes, Ham. Excellent review; agree totally. A little EE in one scene (around his hat), but not terrible at all.

Thanks for the review. While we have the set on VHS I was looking to get it on DVD, now it is on the top of my list of movies to get.

    Thanks
