In celebration of how awesome you guys have been the last two eyars in support of modifying crossovers!

I would like to karma off a set of Fortress Edition plate DIY kits...

These will be Version 1 plates -

So good for those that want to modify their speakers or are planning on using these plates here in the future on a modification I would be performing for you!

Totally up to you!

Here are the plate kits -

http://www.vr3mods.com/DIY_3ZRV.php

What are the stipulations?

Simple! Like the Facebook page and post a comment what your favorite Polk speaker is and why! Once complete, post a number 1 to 125 in this thread, I will draw from this number. Just make sure you put your screen name on Facebook.

https://www.facebook.com/pages/Vr3-Mods/179331065526770

These plates will fit any Polk speaker made in the last 10-15 years that feature bi-wire plates! :)

Karma ends June 5th!

Trey I am an idiot (if you didnt already know) and I forgot to post that my favorite Polk speaker is the SDA's NooshiJohn had and it was because they had could take everything you threw at them power wise and could make sound for days. You could bounce the sound off his neighbors house and still not break em!

And if you dont believe me, ask John about it lol...

    Trey,
I pick number 74. My favorite Polk speaker is the RT55. I have been relegated to a bookshelf set up since we had kids and it was my first Polk purchase. I have tried 8 different bookshelf set ups and none have lived up to the RT55. They remain, while the others have long been sold.

    Thanks for the karma offer,
    Shawn

Thanks! My favorite Polk speaker right now is the LSi15 with the db mod. I love the incredibly smooth and detailed highs, along with the silky midrange.

Trey, can I enter and give the plates to my brother if I win? I don't have any compatible speakers to use the plates on, but my brother has some Lsi9's he could use them on. I have liked your facebook page on Facebook, and my choice of number is: 58

My favorite Polk speakers I have heard are my modded SDA SRS 2.3TL's. Thanks Trey and let me know if the above is a problem.

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

I tried to post this to your website while signing the guest book. Didn't work for some reason. Anyway...

I choose 55 for my Karma. I like the RTi A7.

Not as it comes but what it can become w/the right mods. Some w/Trey's coaching, the rest w/ a soldering iron in my hand to execute the ideas in my head.

2 of those Fortress Mod plates each w/4 PAIRS of binding posts will help move me closer to completing the 'A7 phase of my home theatre. A third one w/3 sets of binding posts, the same for CSi A6 phase.

    Thanks in advance, tony

    Signed the VR3 Guestbook.

    I'm with #4.

I said that the LSi 15 with XO and db mod was my favorite, but the 15's and 1C's would probably be 1A and 1B.

This would be a great Karma to win!! THANKS

In with 8. I love my LSi9, even if it is flawed. It is my first audiophile grade speaker and really made me love the hobby. I will definitely be moving the xover upgrade up the priority list if I win.
