Yes. You'll be able to hear them, but nowhere close to what they should sound like. Especially when you start adding speakers for your surround.

I believe that 100 w is 2 channels driven if you keep that reciever I would keep the A5's and get some A1's as surrounds and just run a 5.1. If you want the A7's you will need a different reciever to power them properly. I own the A5's and A3,s and a csia4 for center, and Power them with a Denon 891 and it does a good job. I would give those A5's a chance you might like them. What other speakers do you have?

I would think the Onkyo will work as long as you keep the sound reasonable. I also would not run a 7.2 system on it with the big speakers cause the power output will suffer with that many speakers. With a 5.1 config it should be fine.

Good choice if your heart is set on those A7's and A1's and csia4, you should consider a psw 111 for a sub and a AVR with more power those 7's will need it

With the size of room the room the 7's would be a better fit along with the CSi A6...although your receiver may power them they would perform better with a 2chnl amp for your mains taking the burden off your receiver amps or you can use an AVR like a used Pioneer SC-25, 27, 35, 37...or a later 07, or 09

Bi-amping a typical consumer AVR, if thats what your using does nothing but borrow power within itself really not achieving anything

Don't buy anything till you get them home and loaded, if you feel its adequate at your listening levels then your good, but if you feel your lacking then my next step would be an amp for your front speakers....hell, I ran my LSi25's on my SC-35 for a week while waiting on my amp and it was fine, but they are 4ohm speakers. When I dropped the amp in, even the wife and kids noticed the difference.

Bi-amping the front speakers is the same as running a 7.1 system in terms of amp power to the speakers. It will reduce power alot to all speakers, this is important if running large speakers. I run a 5.0 setup with bi-amp fronts but use RTI-4's bookies across the front.
You need to find out what that AVR power output is in 7.1 or br careful with the volume.

Your Onkyo TX-NR609 reciever has a set of zone 2 pre-outs.

If after hooking up your reciever to a pair of Polk RTi A7 front speakers ... if you feel the reciever is lacking the power to run the A7s along with the rest of your speakers ... you might look to purchase a separate power amp just to power the A7s.

The Onkyo M-282 power amp is rated at 100 w/ch (into 8 ohms), and will certainly have enough power to drive a single pair of RTi A7 front speakers.

To power your new A7s, just hook your reciever's zone 2 pre-outs to the Onkyo M-282 power amp's RCA audio inputs and you are set. Then let your TX-NR609 drive the remaining speakers in your system.

BTW ... This power amp also has an "input level" knob on the rear of the cabinet, so it gives you the ability to adjust the loudness of your front speakers in order to align them with the volume of the rest of the speakers in your system. Once set, you shouldn't have to re-adjust the input level again.

If your into 'aesthetics' ... This power amp will match your reciever nicely in looks.

The M-282 can be bought for as little as $199 + free shipping from Amazon.

    Just a suggestion
