Cathode or auto bias?

I'm tired of the adjustable bias on my ASL 300B SET integrated. Gonna bring it into the shop and have them change to auto or cathode bias so I can just pop the power tubes in there without manually adjusting the bias.
Can anyone tell me if auto bias is better than cathode bias or the other way around?
The amp already has a lot of things done to it including better output transformers.
Thanks

Cathode bias and auto-bias are the same thing, IIRC. Fixed bias is the one where matched tubes are almost a must. If I am mistaken someone will correct me.

Thanks H9. So looks like it will be cathode bias.
Makes rolling so much easier like my EL34 and EL84 amps.
