When I remove the drivers from my 1B's for magnet epoxy and dynamat can I just put them face down on my table?
Will this hurt the surround/face of the driver?

It might be a dumb question but I dont want to break any thing

They will be fine. It would be even better if you put them on something soft (like a towel or carpet). You will really like the dynamat mod.

"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....
