Well we moved... and I got new stuff, so here's the updated equipment list and some pics:
Equipment List:
TV: Panasonic 60" ST30 Plasma
Receiver/Pre-amp: Integra DTR 5.9
Amplifier: Carver AV-705x
Fronts: Polk LSi 15's modded with a db840 sub (crossover upgrade next)
Center: Polk LSi C
Surrounds: Polk LSi F/X (wall mounted)
Sub: Polk PSW125 (being replaced eventually and moved to the office)
Misc Gear: Xbox 360, Samsung BP-1600 blu ray player, Uverse DVR, Pioneer laserdisc player
Here are some pics of the cable management in the rack. I managed to keep ALL the power, HDMI, IC's and Speaker wire totally separate. Took a bunch of doing, but its done for a LONG LONG LONG TIME.
And here are the finished pics, including the LSi F/X's being mounted

Sweet set-up!Nice clean look on the back end.Done right!Big room too. Thanks for sharing the photos.

Nice setup! Was the TV a new purchase, or did you already have it? I'm looking at new TVs, and will probably go with a Panasonic Plasma. Just wondering if you can elaborate on how you decided on the ST30.
Thanks!

The ST30 was a price to performance call. 60" ST30 or 55" GT30. Main difference is the THX mode of the GT30. Coming from a DLP I figure the ST30 would be more than enough. I paid 1500 to my door. The new models that end with 50 are supposed to have FAR superior black levels than the 30 modelsAt the price point, the ST30 was hard to beat. That's the reason I went with mine, but I got a 55".
Sweet setup man. I plan on doing my cables once I get comfortable with what I have in there. I hope when I do, it turns out as nice as yours did. I give you props for the amount of time that had to take.
About 5 hours or more to tear down and rewire lol. Sat down and planned it all out as much as I could beforehand.

That's TOO clean! What are you? A Terminator? lol.
No, really, it looks great, but I'm a messy guy. Is that an Integra Pre/pro? Yes it is. I should've read the list that preceded the pics.

Yeah it's a bit long in the tooth so it's gonna get replaced this year hopefully with an Onkyo 709"....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -
Feel free to ask the mods to allow you to delete the first 4 pics in your OP, everything else can stay... lol
Awesome looking setup you got there.
* Off to HomeyDs to buy some tie-wraps now *So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

I was going to say "nice and clean". Looks like about a hundred people beat me to it. But that's exactly what it looks like. Very good cable management. I need to get behind stuff and organize my cables. I almost want to just pay someone to do it.Display: Sony 42" LCD

LOL... that part actually took 5x longer than mounting the speakers lol. I think thats the part I am most proud of. Now I am just hoping the spaces I left intentionally are big enough for the 2 channel amp and other item I am looking to aquire lol.....* Off to HomeyDs to buy some tie-wraps now *
LOL, I actually like the Monoprice velcro wraps a bunch. I only used zip ties in the places I did was to make them as hard to notice as possible from the front. Also the velcro wraps wouldnt fit in those spaces between the glass. These are the wraps I used and they have them in different lengths. I ordered a BUNCH so I can even use them on my spare cables to keep things neat (I am a bit OCD about that )
Monoprice has a bunch of different cable management items that were very cheap compared to like a bestbuy lol. Here is a link to that whole section: http://www.monoprice.com/products/subdepartment.asp?c_id=105&cp_id=10520"....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." Don't know if I got a bad batch but the zip ties I ordered from mono price was terrible. They broke very easy. Got some free Velcro straps with my BDI stand, might have to give them a try.

LOL, zip ties I got from RadioShack cause they were easier to pick up than wait for shipping. Those are probably not cheaper to buy off monoprice. I happened to have a bunch left over from when I was OCD about hiding the cables inside my custom built computer "....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." LOL.... still working on getting them dialed in. Audyssey 2EQ set ALL my speakers to FULL RANGE . I left it there for about a day and found there was actually TOO much bass when playing my Xbox so I set the F/X's and the LSiC to a xover of 60hz since their -3db is 52hz.
Played a couple games of Halo on them since and it sounds pretty good. Hoping to throw in a couple blu-rays later this weekend to really test em out.
Overall they sound much better than the Infinity Primus 162's they replaced. My wife is happy that the finish on all the speakers match , so of course I want a set of LSi 7's for the rear  but being a smart man I need to wait a bit before I bring that up. Maybe Chrismas time
The true test will be once I get the new AVR I am looking at the Onkyo NR709 that has Audyssey XT in it so it can dial in the sound much better than my current 2EQ."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." Looks real nice.
Edit: Time for treatments now. -

LOL.... yeah thats NOT gonna happen...... I dont care how pretty you make them, my wife wont go for them in the main living room. So that is my compromise to make her happy.

"Option 1" arrangement turned out nice! Well done!
Very nice, neat and clean......'cept for that dust I spotted (4th pic) at the base/port area of your left front '15.
Are you still leaning toward 7.1? I thought that the 5.1 would fill your space up nicely. -

You got me :frown:. I forgot to dust before taking pics lol...... Darn...teekay0007 wrote: »Are you still leaning toward 7.1? I thought that the 5.1 would fill your space up nicely.
If I could do 7.1 that would be cool, but I am happy with 5.1 currently. If I went 7.1 with another set of LSi's I would need more amp channels than I have so its not really an option until I get my 2 channel amp for the LSi 15's which is honestly much more a priority (along with a better AVR) at this point...."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." Get creative. Put a painting over top. Tell your wife she can get whatever color she wants.
Someday I'll get. My other half knows that. Because every improvement has netted change she's noticed. Treatments will come. Even behind your speakers to start. -

Played that card didn't happen. Only option that could potentially work and it's expensive would be to get some of my scenic photos put on canvas and use that as the covering for the treatments.
Once we get a house there is an understanding I own the basement to go all out on this exact kind if stuff. Until then I will compromise Happy wife....."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted."
