I just bought a brand new 3803 2 weeks ago. It does not work well with my Lsi setup and I am now trying to sell it. It was purchased from an authorized dealer, so it comes with the full warranty and everything, plus, I have only used it for a day or two, so it is in mint condition. Post a reply if you're interested in purchasing the receiver. I am willing to take a little hit on the purchase, but I would still like to get a reasonable price for this brand new receiver. I am having to upgrade to something more adequate to handle the 4 ohm Lsi set.

    I would like to 700+shipping for the receiver. I am attatching a generic picture of the 3803. My model is black and comes with the Denon Warranty.

    Any reasonable offers will be considered.

    They've got a 14 day return policy (with restocking fee :( )
    You might be able to slide under the wire. Might be less of a loss than trying to resell

    That means I would have to pay the 100 fee, plus pay for shipping. The machine is worth 700, that's how much I paid for it, and they are selling it for much more on ebay etc... I am willing to take a little bit less, but not much.

    15%, which is like $100, so it's really not worth it. There has to be some market out there for this receiver. It is brand new and is from an authorized dealer. Crutchfield is selling them for $1000.

    Sorry Rookie, $200 recievers (a couple threads down ) allday long on this site. A $700 reciever new worth $1000 probably not going to get a hit. Very FAIR price but it is not $200 - just how this forum goes. Got me!!!!!!!

    I didn't understand that post? What are you talking about? Don't you think $700 is a fair price? They are selling on ebay wo/full warrantly for 800+.

    This receiver has been used for less than 1 full day. It is not factory refurbished. It was brand new.

    Buy an Outlaw amp and use the 3803 as a pre/pro instead of taking a bath on it.

    Too bad you didn't tune in here earlier; it is well known the Denon amp and the LSi are a poor match. Conversely, the Denon and the RTi are a stellar match - but that won't help you.

    The front end of the 3803 is exceptional - seriously consider an external amp before you sell it.

    I took the av125.5 over the Outlaw. Did i make the wrong decision. Haven't uncrated the B&K yet. It isn't to late.

    nope, you did the right thing! more power to you..:) The objective is to determine what would adequately drive LSi, price and sound quality become the subjective factors beyond this point...
