Not a new road though.
It's a very old road that needs to be repaved every year.

Love the comments on that linked story! eg. suggested names (since they don't tell it in the story) for the street - Lunatic Lane, Botox Blvd., etc.

Based on just a couple of the comments, I think it safe to call the street, the"Yellow Brick Road", home to the San Fransisco chapter of the "Pee Party".

I am not disturbed by the Nancy. But I do have to admit that it's fun to mess with her name. So I would have named the street (Nancy) Bugosi Lane! Or just Pelosi-Bugosi and buried some politicians on both sides of it (left and right!)--they probably make great fertilizer since they don't seem to be able to "DO" anything else. I assume they can "rot" at least, NO?

As an obliquely-Polk-related aside, and in case youse guyses didn't know it, Nancy Pelosi's father -Tommy D'Alesandro, Jr. - was mayor of Baltimore in the 1950s.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_D'Alesandro,_Jr.

In an even more oblique aside - here's a photo of Mayor D'Alesandro presenting the keys to the city to WITH-AM radio deejay Jack Gale. The dapper fellow manning the controls of that Ampex 600 tape deck for WITH radio is my father :-) I don't know the identity of the guy on the far left in the photo.

My apologies if I've posted this photo here before...

    Mark,

Are you sure that you're not still living in Baltimore under an assumed identity in the Witness Protection Program? lol

Cables + crookedness = Monster Cable, based near San Francisco. Remember Candlestick Park renamed as Monster Park?

I guess I will be sued by Monster Cable now....

Do NOT call it Monster, keep calling it Candlestick. They'll come around, eventually.
