I had this infuryating delay when changing channels for months ever since I changed to the H/D cable box.I would change boxes and the same thing would happen.Just last week I got really tired of this and called Cablevision for a service call.Low and behold the installer/repair guy said the boxes I had used were out of date and he brought me a new one and installed it. The result is no delay when switching channels and better yet when if switching channels quickly the box doesn't get overloaded w/ info and does not go blue screen to where I used to have to reboot. So if anyone in cablevision land has had the problems I've had get a new H/D box and you should be good to go.
This one one of the most annoying things I'v encountered and thankfully it is resolved and the picture looks even a bit sharper.Same box Scientific Atlanta 4250H/D...
