Does anybody know anything about these (Mission 740) speakers? I just picked up a pair from a guy that needed some cash along with some Realistic Optimus 1B and a couple of Marantz recievers with some other misc throw away stuff. Anyway they look ok, woofers need refoamed but I don't know anything about them. Are they worth refoaming. Proboaly nothing I would want to keep. Just something to help the guy out and give me something else to play with. maybe flip and make a few bucks if possible. I'm know I didn't get hurt on the deal. I only gave him $34 for all of it, but just want to get an idea of what to do with these speakers.

Mission speakers are very well regarded so should be worth refoam.
Klipsch RB81, KG3.5, B&W DM602.5, Polk.
Subwoofers: Klipsch RW10, Triad ProSub Bronze. -
Since Mission was a fairly well regarded company, I'd spring for the re-foam and whatever else it takes (within reason) to make them operable again. Check ebay for current Mission sales to get an idea of worth so if after you fix them you want to flip them you know about where you need to be $$$.
