Is there such thing as a subsonic filter that i can buy that I can put somewhere in the line before the amp? I'm looking to make a ported box with my Kappa Perfect 10.1d and giving it 320wrms and I'm afraid to use it without a subsonic filter

yes... the following companies i know make them... other's do as well, i'm just not too informed on them all as i stay away from ported boxes (not that i dont like ported, just never bought a sub that i'd wanna port).

most subsonic filters are incorporated into a pre-amp crossover / bass boost / subsonic filter device (some have equalizers on them too).

i believe fosgate does as well.

    mtx does not.

if u can get one for 50, you're either sleeping with the right guy/girl, got stock in the company, or are really good at online shopping.

if u get one for 50 - and its decent - jump on it.
