As I was driving to work, I knew something was wrong when I hear Donna Summer songs repeated.

"She Works Hard For Her Money", "Bad Girls", "Hot Stuff", "Last Dance", etc....they don't write great songs like those anymore.

    RIP Ms. Summer

Heard the same thing this morning at work Danny, I thought it was weird hearing four songs in a row by the same artist. She had some cool tunes.

    May she rest in peace.

I had a friend introduce me to her music many years ago and he thought she had an awsome voice. I heard the music and agreed. I used to play her greatest hits cd ALL THE TIME about 13 years ago after I bought my RT3000P's. Disco on them is like being in the clubs. Her voice was powerfull and seemed effortless for her to sing those songs.

Yes, alot of great people are leaving us and will continue to do so. Those earlier days were filled with special people doing what they do and we had little else to entertain us unlike today.

I'm glad I lived in a time to have seen Donna Summer on those shows and special occasions like new years eve and older artist get together shows.

I loved watching her and hearing her sing. A real class act !

    RIP Donna Summer
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

RELUCTANTLY went to her concert in LA in the early 80's & was blown away. To this day, one of the best concerts I've ever attended. Still can't believe I can write that. But it's true.

You defined a period in American music (disco). You did it with dignity and class!

She was a great performing artist!!
