Great speakers. Hard to find them at a price this low. They sound like they should, that is, very nice.
The sides were damaged so I removed them. Nice sleek look. There are a number of very small blemishes and hairline scratches, but no deep scratches, crushed corners, or anything really egregious, but four things worthy of note:
1. the bottom of one speaker is really scratched up. You will probably never be looking at the bottom, but I figured I would mention it.
2. There are two small chips of the front, near the bottom on the inside. I think you can see them in the pics. Not very noticeable from a distance by worth mentioning.
3. One of the built-in brackets is broken and does not work. If you want to mount these you will need to use a mount that sits underneath, which you will probably want to do anything with speakers this heavy.
4. They do NOT come with the grills.
What you see in the pics is mostly finger smudges and dust. Sorry I do not know how to use a camera :sad:
I will ship fedex ground fully insured with solid styrofoam all around in a sturdy box. They will arrive to you in the same condition they left me.

My thought was more order a replacement from polk and attach it back. I just had to see if the screws were on the inside of the cabinet as it looks like they are.

I have never mounted speakers, so this has never been something I have thought much about. but I was assuming that if someone wanted to mount them they would just use the mounts this guy used that go underneath the speaker:

You should be able to get to the screws holding in the power port by removing the drivers. This seems like a pretty good deal for a set of project speakers. The side panels are originally stuck on with double sided tape IIRC so someone could easily make some panels in a better looking wood and bam, bliss
I loved my 7's. Great sound from an itsy bitsy speaker that's generally high on the WAF scale.
