TSI500 with CSI A6
Hi Guys,
I've got front TSI500 (L+R) but because of the price difference here in Aus its cheaper for me to get the CSI A6 then the CS20 front speaker. Just wanting to know peoples thoughts on pairing different series together especially the TSI and CSI - Im using an onkyo NR609 and will be using the speakers for 50% games, 40% movies and 10% TV
Thanks

You'll be fine. There will a slight difference in timbre but nothing you should worry about. At some point, you can move the TSi500s to the back as surrounds and opt for some RTi's for your fronts.Display: Sony 42" LCD
Sources: Harman Kardon DVD-27,
Panasonic DMP-BDT110 blu ray player
AVR: Sony STR-DA2400ES
Amps: Sonance Sonamp 260(fronts),
Kenwood KM-894(surrounds)
Fronts: NHT 2.5
Center: NHT VS-1.2A
Surrounds: NHT Super One
Subwoofer: SVS PB10-ISD -

thanks mate, I've heard the onkyo nr609 is too under powered to handle the RTI's - have you heard this?
thanks -
You heard correct. There are better options. Which RTi's are you looking at ?

Id probably go for the a7 or a9 if possible -
Your gonna need more power than the 609 to make the a7's or a9's worth the investment. I'm sure you have read it here again and again. Look for a reciever with preouts and run an amp with them. Or maybe a Pioneer SC series for the a7's.
