Hello to the forum from a longtime wall flower. I have a Belles 21A with a black faceplate. I have been desiring a silver faceplate and finally called Power Modules only to find out spare parts are not available. Sooo...if anyone that currently has a silver edition would like a perfect black faceplate, knobs and anodized mounting screws, I would be up for a swap. I saw one such reference in an old post commenting on the Belles pre but just realized you need ten post in order to send a pm. Hopefully this post wont run conflict with s.o.p.

    Welcome to CP, mlo!

Glad you're speaking out. I don't think a swap is breaking any rules. Sales require 100 posts, but this is a bit different. Good luck on finding the faceplate. That's a great preamp you're running.

Now that we know you're there, chime in more often! ;)

    Thanks newrival,

The members name who's post i saw refering to possibly swapping faceplates on his black PA was toolfan66. The post was two years old though...

My current research also centers around a desire for a total rebuild of my SDA-2's crossover's. I replaced the original tweeters with RDO-194's but would like to truly see what others research has afforded these timeless jewels. I have no desire to practice on my parts and would prefer to find someone who would perform the rebuild including binding post etc.

My current source is an Arcam CD23 through the Belles and powered by a Threshold S/500 ll.

Nice stuff, and welcome to CP!

Lots of members have used long time member VR3 to do crossover mods. Do a search and you can see some of his work.

I did my own - they're not difficult if you're careful.
