Speakers for my pickup truck

Hey all,
I've been to other forums like CarAudioForum.com, and they just slam anyone who's looking for general advice. Not very friendly to say the least..
I just bought a pickup truck and I have the KDC-BT952HD from Kenwood installed.
I want to buy the best 5.25 component speakers that will fit in my truck.
Doing a search for 'best component speakers' is fruitless. Everyone toots their own horn.
Is Polk the way to go? I have a pickup truck, so I know I can't expect too much. I just want the best bang for my buck. What's the speaker model I want here? I wouldn't mind installing an amp if it makes a difference.
Thanks for any advice.
Dan

Amp will make a world of difference.
What's your budget? You are right, everyone toots their own horn but first "filter" if you will is always price since it's an exact number, not an opinion lol. Having a budget will greatly help define "best component speakers" for YOU.
and yes, SR5250 are GREAT speakers.2008 Nissan Altima

Polk Audio SR6500 active and SR124-dvc sealed

My budget is very flexible. If the best sounding speaker sounds good to me, I'll pay the cost.
My issue is that I only have a pickup truck. I won't have any rear speakers to figure into the equation.
I don't want to over spend on something that won't make a difference.
I briefly checked out the SR5250 last night and I'm intrigued. Where can I hear these?
Thanks all. -
Do they still make these speakers?

it will be hard to hear these, you are going to need to find someone in ur area that has them and get in their car
No - they dont make them anymore, and its not because they arent good.
You mention that you wont have rear speakers - good - you dont want any, it is better for sound quality to NOT have rear speakers.
