Can the Integra Research RDA-7 power the RTi150's?

Again, I am on the search for what to buy for my Home Theater audio setup. In my previous thread I stated that I was thinking about the Sunfire pre and power amp. The more research that I have done, I have found that alot of people highly recommend the Integra Research RDC-7 preamp with the Integra Research RDA-7 power amp. Is anyone familiar with this setup? Has anyone tried to power the RTi150's with the RDA-7?

    Grey,
IR gears are high end, to some degree, is even better than B&K. Their products are more exclusive than B&K, and I know there are only a handful of dealers carry them. It's the elite level of Pioneer, except it's even higher class. Running RTi150? without doubt, it will drive it easily. I consider them for running my LSi, but back out, because personally I like the warmer sound of B&K. If you need to consult a dealer who carries mid to high end gears, check out www.soundvideo.com The owner is very honest, and knowledgable of the different quality in gears he carries (Denon to Lexicon) and doesn't mind spending time educating/sharing his knowledge to customers, and never tried to pull a fast one on me. Btw, his name is Steve, based out of Minneapolis, but will ship nationwide. Also, he carries Integra Research...
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

Way overpriced gear for Rti150's.. period.. I looked at the Integra new pre and amp, about 5000.00 for the pair is a bit much no matter how good they are... for Rti's They look super cool and i bet sound excellent, But consider Lsi or higher end gear for that equipment...

I got these mixed up with what you were talking about, still great gear http://www.integrahometheater.com/prod_class.cfm?class=Separates

Thanks for the info! I could upgrade the speakers later I guess. These RTi's would work temporarily until I got something that was top of the line. I just wanted to make sure that 150 watts per channel was enough to power them successfully.
Do the LSi's sound all that much better than the RTi's?
Where can you buy the Integra pair for $5000? The pre is listed retail at $4000 by itself. Does anyone discount this high end stuff? Everyone I talked to wants full retail because they say it is so exclusive.

I could be wrong, but I think faster was referring to the regular Integra separates for that price. Is LSi's sound better than RTi? yes! but then I am biased, I own them. As far as discount, yes, call Steve at Sound Video, he'll give you less than MSRP price....

Btw, If you are going to spend serious dough on the Integra, make sure you audition gears of its caliber. Don't skip Lexicon, Anthem, Bryston, or B&K. With the exception of Anthem, Sound Video carries them all...

You can probably get a used set of RDC-7, and RDA-7 for about 5k. Check Ebay, from time to time RDC shows up, but RARELY. The new Integra DTC are nice, but it lacks upgradeability. The whole point of pre/pros are the fact that manufacture upgrade their pre/pros so you don't have to upgrade a new unit every year.
