I'm looking at that one too, the "semi" hi-fi shop in my town swears by them, they pretty much refused to sell me a pio elite BR player because they said I was wasting my money and can't do better for the money than the s780. So I held off instead... lol!

You want to look for offers that come with a side of Guaca-Mole that you can use as a dip when you're watching films. That's where the real deal is at! lol

Seems to me that you could find a decent player under 200. Although you are getting "free" discs with that?

Mole, this is a very nice player with a crispy clean 12 bit picture. Cant beat it for the price. I bought this player a couple months ago on Sony's website for $199 with the two free Potter Movies. This player does not have Analog outs, but does play SACD's. It is a nice player for the price. The Pioneer BDP-53FD also is nice, but is twice the price, and you are essentially getting the same player. If you are looking for Analog out, then you may want to try the Oppo players, otherwise this should do you right.
