Probably a dumb question....can iphones / ipads / droid phones and tablets / windows phones & tablets -
can most or all of these devices SAVE a PDF file internally...after the PDF has been emailed to it?

Yes, all of those are able to save a file you've sent. You may have to download a PDF viewer of your choice......
Regarding Android, do yourself a favor and go into your settings and set your mail size limit to "Text Only, no pictures" (outlook) or the 1 or 5KB (Text Only) options or you'll end up with every single email signature, icon, logo, etc. being stashed in endless repeated quantities from all your emails....comment comment comment comment. bitchy. -
Cool thanks....I guess another option would be to send the PDF via a USB or mini-USB port on the device.
It seems not all - even few - tablets have a USB port....but I am not very familiar with tablets yet... -
Blackberry - Docs to go & Print to go is all I ever use whether I want to take or print a PDF to my tablet for use later, external display, etc.
