Local Pub does a benefit for Breast Cancer. This year we're raffleing off a big screen TV. Need help finding the best deal i can. Looking for 50'' or better. Best deal i've found is a 51'' Samsung at Amazon for $620. Anyone know of any better deals ?

You do know that, normally when you do a raffle for a charity, you can find a local company to donate the item to be raffled, right?

That's true. Contact some stores in your area and tell them what you are planning to do. I'd bet one or more will offer up a TV for free or at a heavy discount. The rent-to own places are usually the best bet,i.e. Rent-a-Center or Aaron's.They will look at it as inexpensive advertising. Some will actually do it because they believe in your charitable cause. If you can't hear a difference, don't waste your money. -

You can also strike a deal with the donating store to be a primary sponsor of the event. Good will pub is always high on a marketers list.Do you hear that buzzing noise?
