I am selling one of my Carver TFM-35 amplifiers. It is in near perfect condition and I have the original box, packing and brochure. I got it from the original owner and shortly after got my tube amps, so this has not been used very hard. Both lamps & meters are fully functional :) One cool thing about the TFM-35 is that it has gain adjustment knobs for both channels, so the levels can be tweeked when using in a bi-amp condition. Only selling cuz I need some $$

TFM-35 SPECIFICATIONS:
Frequency Response: 20-20kHz +0,-0.2dB
Power Output: FTC 20hz-20khz
8ohm 250 watts per channel
4ohm 400 watts per channel
2ohm 750 watts per channel
Bridged mono power output: 800 watts into 8 ohms
THD: less than 0.08%
Dynamic Headroom: >1.0dB @ 8ohms both channels driven
Gain: 29.0 dB (+/- 0.5dB) Input Impedance 47 kohms
Damping Factor: >150 typical (20hz-20khz)

I am looking for a local, Seattle area sale
I am asking $325.00
Thanks for looking.

Never spent that much time with a Carver, but that's a nice price for the 35.

On another note, isn't that series of Carver fairly light in weight compared to other 200 watt amps? Shipping should be a snap with those smaller lighter Carvers than many other power meisters. No?

Congrats with the sales . I am sure they went to a good home

P.S. for folks wondering I did not buy this, I got a M1.0t instead. Kcoc321 is a great guy to deal with however so in the future if anyone wondered, I would buy from him no problem.

Hey KC! I just saw this thread. So that was your TFM. I've been watching CL for some time and was considering an offer. That could have been a good trade for a pair of very nice restored SDA 1Cs (with new walnut end caps and grill cloth). Oh well, I'm glad it went to a Polkie. Interested in a pair of 1Cs?

Actually it was a local sale.... IC's would have been interesting but IDK where I would have put them ;)

PS: you have a spare set of IC's?
Cuz I know you're not talking about trading out your newly modded ones
