Pioneer vsx01 thx $180

I have a pioneer elite vxs01 thx for sale for $180

This unit is being sold as a defective unit to be used as a preamp only. I sold this once here on the forum before and myself and another member both lost money on shipping because 1 of the 3 hdmi inputs failed. The unit is being listed as a preamp for the fact that the buyer reported it cutting out on him. Although this has never happened to myself I have never driven it too hard or with more than 5 speakers so it will be listed as a defective unit

I never really loved this receiver with my electrostats as it sounded bright on the panels. It was not until after making up my personal man cave with consoles and a 2nd projector I really fell in love with it. I used it to drive polk rti8 with a ML Encore center ch and some yamaha book shelf's and the room correction system really made these mash together into a tasty audio treat.

I have been frequenting audio shops and will be buying a high end receiver for this game room as well as a new jvc or epson 3d projector to make this a serious instead of casual little retreat

I will note that I have sold a couple of items on here this month with good feedback. Shipping is going to around $40 and the box it will arrive in will be a pioneer sc box as I dont have the origonal box or manual but it can be found easily on the pioneer product page

Again I have to sell this as a preamp only with a defective hdmi input

Edit: There is scuffing on the shiney finish that the pics dont show but it is there and can be seen if really close up and the volume also has little minute nicks
